Flexible, reliable, and incredibly powerful. The Zhiyun Crane 3S is designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding creators. Capable of moving equipment up to 6.5 kilos, it is a valid option for both SLR or mirrorless cameras and film equipment.

The set includes a TransMount Servo Focus Motor (Lite) and a TransMount Servo Zoom/Focus Motor (Max), providing a more complete tracking and zooming experience. Customized large lens mounts, working with Crane 3S standard round rods, expand the support range and make it easier to load cinema cameras.

  • Three-axis stabilizer with unprecedented capacity and flexibility, designed to accommodate all types of configurations: from SLR or mirrorless cameras to cinema equipment
  • New SUPER motors, capable of moving equipment up to 6.3 kilos. The Crane 3S has the power and space to handle large-volume setups: Canon EOS-1D X, Canon C300, Sony FS7, RED, BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera, etc.
  • The rotation axis can be extended using a standard-supplied extension. This modularity allows for more robust equipment configurations, such as film cameras. If you opt for smaller bodies, the extender can be removed to continue using the Crane 3S in its most compact form.
  • Detachable handle, allowing for two different options: EasySling, a rubber-coated handle to ensure a better grip and facilitate low shots, or SmartSling, which has several controls and an OLED panel to facilitate intuitive and ergonomic handling of the gimbal.
  • The modularity of the Crane 3S, with connectors of different sizes at the end of the main arm, opens the door to the use of motorized dollies, cranes, cable cams, Easyrig type load vests, etc.
  • The renewed three-axis fixing system guarantees maximum reliability as well as complete absence of movement of the gimbal during transport.
  • Using three 18650 batteries (the same ones used in the Crane 3 LAB), the battery life is up to 12 hours. The Crane 3S is also compatible with the new power bank TransMount PowerPlus Battery Pack (highly recommended for power banks weighing more than 3 kilos), which can hold another six 18650 batteries, extending battery life to a maximum of 18 hours.
  • Direct power port capable of up to 25.2 volts
  • The new 9th Instune algorithm provides unprecedented smoothness and responsiveness, even in fast-paced action shots with sudden camera movements.
  • The rotating arm (closest to the camera) has a 55-degree tilt, eliminating any visual obstructions to the scene. This arrangement provides more space for the camera and makes it possible to use larger equipment.
  • The Crane 3S features wide compatibility with lenses from different brands, allowing you to control focus from the dial on the main arm and vary the zoom focal length with the SmartSling handle (supplied as standard on the 3S and 3S Pro configurations).
  • The TransMount ecosystem of wireless transmission devices (sold separately or supplied with the 3S Pro) allows you to transmit 1080p video at 30 frames per second with ultra-low latency to up to three devices simultaneously.
  • In addition to HD streaming, ViaTouch 2.0 technology allows you to control various camera parameters (such as zoom or focus) and the gimbal from the screen of an iOS or Android mobile phone.
  • Zhiyun’s SmartFollow technology allows you to track any subject by selecting it from your phone’s screen in the easiest and most convenient way (requires the TransMount image transmitter)
  • The new Sync Motion technology allows you to remotely control the stabilizer in real time with the mobile phone’s motion sensors using intuitive gestures (the TransMount image transmitter is required).
