The XDCAM PMW-300K1 camcorder incorporates three 1/2″ Full HD Exmor™ CMOS sensors that deliver high-quality images even in low-light environments.

Its wide compatibility for interchangeable lenses and the robust metal chassis reinforce the suitability of the PMW-300K1 for a wide variety of applications. Plus, it comes with convenient multi-camera and remote operation options, allowing use with high-end camera systems.

XAVC HD 422 10-bit and MPEG HD 422 50 Mbps recording, ideal for a wide variety of recording conditions. An evolution of Sony’s celebrated PMW-EX3, the PMW-300K is capable of recording material in HD422 XAVC 10-bit, including HD 422 10-bit, 100 Mbps XAVC intra-frame and HD 422 10-bit XAVC Long GOP. bit low). Also records HD material at 50 Mbps to MPEG-2 HD422, compatible with worldwide broadcast standards, including the European Broadcasting Union (EBU/EBU) standards for HD broadcast uptake, for use with long-form programs. Standard definition recording includes DVCAM and SD MPEG IMX format up to 50 Mbps. The MPEG IMX format offers exceptional visual quality for SD recording comparable to the Betacam Digital broadcast standard. Its high bit rate ensures excellent capture of fast-moving subjects. It also includes a Chroma Downsampling feature that is perfect for a variety of areas of video encoding, such as effects and green chroma work. In addition, the camera can be compatible with Sony’s revolutionary XAVC codec, which will extend its useful life and ensure its value for money.
