The BVW-75 is the established workhorse of the analogue Betacam SP machines. It is an edit master recorder/player that incorporates Dynamic Tracking and a Built in Timebase corrector for perfect noise free playback.

The BVW-75 is the established workhorse of analog Betacam SP machines. It is a master editing recorder/player incorporating dynamic tracking and a built-in time base corrector for perfect noise-free playback. It also features four audio channels (two AFM, high-fidelity, audio tracks and two linear tracks) plus a VITC (Vertical Interval Time Code) that allows accurate time code playback at all times in conjunction with the LTC reader. The internal construction uses plug-in cards and facilitates easy maintenance and setup access, and a full-function JOG/Shuttle editing wheel is available on the removable tilting front panel to allow editing control of the local or remote VTR. There were two versions of the Time Base Corrector with different network specifications. Known as the TBC-8 and TBC-12, the latter is preferable as it has improved performance.
