Now with optional 1080 50p recording, the AF101A’s large sensor delivers full 10-bit 4:2:2 SDI output for very high-quality images. It handles like an ENG camera, so it will be familiar to operate and quick to use compared to other cinematic systems.
The image area of the new camcorder is almost the same as that of 35mm movie film. Allows for exquisite film-like depth of field. The short rear flange distance of the Micro Four Thirds Mount allows the use of a wide range of lenses. The AG-AF101 offers a new level of HD motion picture quality with extended recording time, variable frame rate functionality, and operating system and system interfaces natively designed for video production.
