The FX3 offers an exceptional dynamic range of more than 15 stops for well-lit indoors and outdoors in the morning or evening. Therefore, it captures all the nuances and achieves unprecedented cinematic freedom in color grading.
S-Log3 and 10-bit HDR recording for smooth grading
The S-Log3 and S-Gamut3Cine gamma curve allow you to capture a wide dynamic range with great color reproduction. It also allows you to easily combine footage captured with other Cinema Line cameras in post-production. In addition, an HDR image profile with HLG (hybrid gamma Log) enables direct HDR (HLG) playback on compatible TVs without post-production.
HDMI RAW output 16 bits
For demanding post-production tasks, 16-bit RAW output (with 59.94/50p/29.94/25p/23.94 image frequency options and color spaces) is provided with HDMI connection to compatible external recorders, while capturing XAVC HS 4K, XAVC S 4K, XAVC S-I 4K or proxy on camera. The resolution of RAW video output is 4264 x 2408 (16:9), higher than DCI-4K (DCI-4K Resolution: 4096 x 2048).
