Zeiss CP.2 Super Speed 50mm T1.5

The Zeiss Compact Prime CP.2 Super Speed 50mm T1.5 is a fast cine lens designed for filmmaking and video production applications. It shoots remarkably well in low light conditions. In addition to excellent optics and mechanics, the lens offers extensive flexibility in the areas of camera compatibility, follow-focus compatibility, and shootability.

It features an interchangeable mounting system which offers a great benefit for the future: not only can the lens be used with cameras of different mounts, but it is also guaranteed to be compatible with most future cameras. The system offers compatibility with PL, EF mounts.

It works so well in low-light, night-time, and dim outdoor environments that it conveniently enables filmmakers to take more creative low-light shots, especially with high-ISO DSLRs and camcorders. The protruding low-beam handle also serves to limit the need for artificial light, thereby enabling more mobile cinema and more natural-looking scenes. The fast aperture also offers more creative possibilities when aiming at a cinematic shallow depth of field.
