The Fujinon MK 18-55mm T2.9 lens delivers high optical performance and convenient operation for professional video shooters. Together with the MKX 50-135mm T2.9, the MKX 18-55mm T2.9 is the first fully manual cine lens compatible with the X series interchangeable lens camera. In 35mm format equivalent, the MKX 18-55mm T2.9 covers a focal length from 27mm to 84mm and achieves a constant aperture of T2.9 throughout its full zoom range, delivering a shallow depth of field and beautiful bokeh. The lens design is optimized for video shooting by minimizing focus and optical axis shift when zooming and reducing lens breathing (the change in angle of view during focusing). The lens also features three rings to allow independent manual control of focus, zoom and iris (aperture), all with a gear pitch of 0.8M (modulus). The focusing rings can be rotated fully up to 200 degrees in order to facilitate precise focusing. These functions make the lens very comfortable and easy to handle.
The new Fujinon MK 50-135mm Zoom maintains its maximum aperture of T2.9 throughout the zoom range. It covers Super 35mm sensors and offers minimal breathing with parfocal behaviour. It is a lens that rewards combined use with the MK 18-55, with which it shares weight, dimensions and servo position to avoid rebalancing the camera when switching from one to the other.
