The Sony PMW-F3 is part of the CineAlta 24P family of digital cinematography products and its support for multiple frame rates includes cinematic 23.98P as well as S-Log workflows.

Sony’s Super 35 Exmor™ CMOS sensor was designed using two decades of experience in digital cinematography, pioneering digital HD capture for film and broadcast television through the legendary CineAlta range of products. It brings true ‘cinematic style’ and high image quality to independent films, music videos, commercials and other applications, making the PMW-F3 an ideal auxiliary camera for large film productions.

Exceptional flexibility is a key feature of the F3 along with multiple workflow options. The intuitive, high-speed, proven XDCAM EX workflow offers seamless integration with leading off-the-shelf non-linear editing software. Additionally, 4:2:2 10-bit HD-SDI output offers hybrid recording capabilities with a variety of external recording devices.
