The Sony FR7 is the first PTZ camera with a full-frame sensor. Additionally, you can use any E-mount lens, even an anamorphic one. You’ll achieve a cinematic finish with all the conveniences offered by a mechanized camera. We also highlight its magnesium alloy chassis, which provides lightness and prevents overheating.
Place the camera in creative locations
It can be mounted on the ceiling or other hard-to-reach locations, thanks to its remote-controllable pan, tilt, and zoom mechanism.
Innovative remote control
Track your subjects and instantly call up predefined framing. Take advantage of its new Web App, easily accessible via QR code or URL. The camera can be configured from a computer or tablet.
Advanced technology for high image quality
As a Cinema line series camera, the Sony FR7 incorporates features that facilitate high-quality cinematic or audiovisual expression:

- The BIONZ XR™ processor helps generate superior image quality with high sensitivity, smooth gradations, and realistic color.
- More than 15 stops of dynamic range to prevent overexposed highlights and crushed shadows.
- Sharper images in low light by fully utilizing the sensor’s size and high sensitivity (expandable up to ISO 409600), making it ideal for live concerts or low-light situations.
