The Stype Redspy 3.0 is the new camera tracking system for television and film studios. It is a low-cost optical tracking option that can be used on any camera, whether it is mounted on a pedestal, dolly, crane, steadycam or handheld, in virtual environments and projection of 3D elements.

The traditional problem with optical tracking systems is the limited bandwidth of the camera cable. RedSpy 3.0 uses special FPGA algorithms to quickly compress the 4K image before sending it over the cable. This makes tracking faster, more responsive, and more accurate.
Invisible and harmless, RedSpy’s LEDs allow the system to blend into any environment. Once installed, RedSpy can start tracking 20 seconds after power up and does not require recalibration. These leds emit infrared light that is reflected back to the camera by reflective markers installed on the ceiling, side walls, or even on the floor when used outdoors.
Redspy 3.0 is the first solution on the market that can send data wirelessly. In adition, it can be powered by a battery to be completely cable-free, which is crucial for steadycam operation.
