Panel Panasonic AW-RP150G

The AW-RP150 is a remote camera controller for Panasonic’s range of professional PTZ cameras. It has the same great functionality of the AW-RP120 and AW-RP50, and joins the lineup with significant improvements on those models, including a new one-handed joystick (controls PTZ or Focus) and a large LCD Touch panel for Monitoring and menu configuration.

The AW-RP150 is a remote camera controller for Panasonic’s range of professional PTZ cameras. It has the same great functions as the AW-RP120 and AW-RP50 models and incorporates some notable improvements over them. It includes a new one-handed joystick (controls pan/tilt, zoom or focus functions) and a large LCD touch screen for monitoring and selecting menu settings.

The AW-RP150 is the perfect partner for the UE150 and is actually required to access all the new features of this camera, such as the HD crop function. A major improvement in terms of ergonomics and ease of use is the RP150’s ability to send data directly to connected AWUE150 cameras. This includes system configuration, but more importantly scene files allow cameras to be matched quickly and securely.

The new controller can control up to 200 multipurpose cameras via IP and organize them into 20 groups. In the same way, the panel includes 5 serial ports for connection through RS422 ports. At the time of its release (December 2018), the AW-RP150 will be able to control only AW-UE150 cameras. The panel is compatible with legacy Panasonic PTZ cameras such as the AW-HE130, AW-HR140, AW-UE70 and AW-HE40.

A joystick-mounted rocker switch provides zoom or focus control, plus traditional zoom and focus controls on the side
left. In addition, it has a specific button to adjust the speed for each control.

The controller features a large 7-inch LCD touch screen with immediate access to the menu, user buttons, and status information. Camera monitoring is available thanks to the 3G-SDI input available on the back. Its large screen allows you to intelligently save and recall presets and track memories.

The unit can be powered by PoE+, eliminating the need for additional wiring for the power supply. In addition, it has a 4-pin XLR connector.
