The Panasonic AW-HE40 robotic PTZ camera with HDMI output features a 1/2.3″ MOS sensor. This allows you to control PTZ actions and monitor the viewing area from a remote location via a web browser when is connected to the Internet. The camera is equipped with a 4.3-129mm zoom lens (equivalent to 31.6-962mm in 35mm format) including 30x optical zoom, 16x digital zoom and a 1.4x digital extender. This allows you to zoom in on the activity in the monitoring area for a closer look. The Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) feature minimizes blocked shadows and stray highlights. When it gets too dark to record normal images, the Full HD PTZ camera uses night mode to capture clear monochrome images. It also supports PoE+, allowing you to power the unit using a single LAN cable. The high-precision pan-tilt head offers precise, fast and fluid movement in all directions, allowing you to capture both slow and fast-moving objects without excessive vibration or bounce. The Freeze During Preset feature can be enabled to pause the video during preset playback, displaying the still image immediately before the rotary motion. The AW-HE40HW is equipped with High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode, allowing you to create videos with high visibility by correcting halos and black defects, even in backlit conditions. Hybrid 2D/3D Digital Noise Reduction (Hybrid DNR) ensures sharp images even in low-light areas. The device also supports audio input, keying and encoding. The camera’s switchable mic/line input can be combined with HD-SDI, HDMI and streaming outputs for mixing, recording or streaming. Additionally, it is possible to set the AW-HE40HW to automatically switch to night mode based on surrounding light levels.
