A true stage icon for 70 years, also known as an “Elvis” mic, the 55SH Series II Vocal Microphone features a unique satin chrome chassis for a truly vintage look and feel.

The Shure 55SH Series II has been specially designed for vocal applications. Perfect for live performance, speaking and broadcast, recording and other sound applications where a stand-mounted microphone with a classic look is required.

A cardioid (unidirectional) polar pattern is used to minimize pickup of sound from behind the microphone. This allows you to use the 55SH Series II close to loudspeakers without feedback issues and to perform in harsh acoustic conditions where you would not be able to use omnidirectional microphones.
