The legacy of the now legendary Crane 2 continues in this new stabilizer designed for the most demanding camera operators. Capable of moving larger and heavier configurations than its predecessor, it is also more reliable, robust and modular than ever.

The next-generation 9th Instune algorithm allows the Crane 2S to smoothly and efficiently move heavy and bulky equipment. Powerful camera setups like the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K or the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II are affordable for this gimbal.

The new FlexMount system offers a double security and release mechanism with a single gesture, without tools.

The new quick-release vertical mount allows you to easily change the orientation of the equipment and secure it in a moment.

Easily change modes with the switch located within reach of your index finger. Handling the set is easy and pleasant thanks to the light and resistant carbon fiber handle.

Don’t lose details of the gimbal’s use and configuration parameters thanks to the large 0.96-inch OLED panel.

All three axles of the Crane 2S feature an improved locking system for greater safety during transport.

The convenient focus control wheel is a practical solution for working with compatible equipment and an alternative to the high-precision TransMount servo motor.

The three removable, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries included with the Crane 2S provide up to 12 hours of operation.

Zhiyun Crane 2S Features

  • New generation of Crane 2, the stabilizer that consolidated Zhiyun as a reference name in the three-axis gimbals market, now more powerful, reliable and modular than ever
  • The new generation 9th Instune algorithm improves the response speed of each axis and provides continuous and dynamic stabilization
  • With more powerful motors than its predecessor, the Crane 2S can move heavy setups made up of cameras such as the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, the Panasonic Lumix S1H, the Nikon D850 or the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II
  • New FlexMount system for fixing and releasing the camera, which facilitates the assembly of the equipment (with a single gesture and without the need for tools) and minimizes risks thanks to the double security system. For greater reliability it is possible to adjust the pressure with the lower button
  • Quick-release vertical mount to quickly and easily change the orientation of the recording equipment (requires use of the included lens holder to prevent tilting of the lens when the equipment is placed vertically), with a security screw mechanism to lock the set
  • Robust and light carbon fiber handle to facilitate grip and handling of the set
  • Modular system for a multitude of options. The 1/4-inch thread on the quick release plate allows you to quickly and easily mount the device to other devices such assliders and tripods. Two other 1/4 inch threads with crown and a third 3/8 thread located on the gimbal expand the possibilities of expanding the set in a creative way
  • Specific slot to mount the Zhiyun TransMount Image Transmission Transmitter and increase the possibilities of teamwork
  • Practical 2.0 locking mechanism with tab on the three axes to prevent swinging or movement of the gimbal during transport or storage
  • New 0.96-inch OLED panel (significantly larger than the 0.66-inch panel of the original Crane 2) located on the arm to be able to control the use and configuration parameters of the Crane 2S at all times
  • Electronic focus control, comfortable and precise, using the wheel located on the stabilizer arm (only on compatible equipment) or mechanical with a delay ultra-low thanks to the use of a TransMount servo motor (not included).
  • Up to six operating modes, easily selectable with a switch located on the handle, within reach of the index finger: pan follow, lock, follow, full POV follow, vortex and Go mode
