The Aputure Light Dome II Softbox is a quick-mount circular softbox with a Bowens mount. Its large surface area makes it ideal for powerful LED spotlights.
The Light Dome II offers a significant upgrade from the original Light Dome, featuring even higher quality diffusion fabric. It also offers a quick build and tear down system, an included honeycomb egg crate, and several other new additions.
ADVANCED DIFFUSION MATERIALS
Light Dome II now includes two options (1.5 stops and 2.5 stops) for ultra-soft front diffusion fabric. These materials create a beautiful soft light that provides a very uniform wrap around the subject.
QUICK SETUP
The Light Dome II also features Aputure’s quick release speed ring, allowing you to open or close the dome in a matter of seconds.
GEL HOLDER SUPPORT
The Light Dome II’s new speedring design allows it to be compatible with the included Aputure gel holder which maximizes the capabilities of your gels and minimizes the amount of material needed.
PERFECTLY ROUND LAMP
The 35” Light Dome II uses 16 rods to create 32 axis points, allowing for an exceptionally round softbox that produces perfectly circular reflectors.
QUALITY FABRIC GRID
In addition to multiple diffusion options, Light Dome II also includes a studio-quality 40° fabric light control grille to help adjust its soft light.
