The Aputure F10 Fresnel is the industry’s first standard 10-inch Fresnel made for Bowens Mount modular luminaires. With its wide 250 mm (9.84 in) Fresnel crystal, the F10 greatly intensifies the output of a point source LED. But also, it results in a quality of light that lighting technicians will find similar to a Tungsten 5K or Studio 2K.
INTENSELY BRIGHT
The F10 Fresnel works best when combined with the Aputure LS 600d Pro, a 600W daylight COB LED. Together, this combination eclipses the Studio 2K Tungsten lights and approaches the intensity of the 5K Tungsten fixtures in flood. With a combined flood output of 11,440 lux and a spot output of 29,300 lux at 3 meters, the 600d Pro and F10 Fresnel even compete on par with higher-powered HMIs.
DUAL OPTICAL DESIGN
The F10 Fresnel matches the unique design of the 2X Fresnel and uses a two-stage optical system to maximize light output. Using a rear aspherical focusing element, the F10 Fresnel optimizes the output of an LS 600d Pro to fill the front Fresnel element, resulting in up to 340% additional output in Flood mode.
MINIMIZED LIGHT LEAKS
Building on our experience from the 2X Fresnel, the F10 Fresnel utilizes an offset vent design in its heat-resistant body that allows airflow and minimizes light leakage.
IMPECCABLE CONSTRUCTION
Despite its impressive 250 mm (9.84 in) Fresnel diameter, the F10 Fresnel maintains a compact, heat-resistant construction. The F10’s housing can withstand the heat of the LS 600d Pro and, thanks to its foldable, aspherical focusing lens, can be stored at a depth of 6.8 inches (172.5 mm).
