Fotodiox Pro EF Adapter

This version of the Canon EOS Adapter is a simple mechanical adapter that allows a Canon EOS (EF) D/SLR lens to be mounted on a Sony FZ-mount camera, such as the Sony PMW-F3/F5 digital cinema camcorders. There’s no corrective optics built in, so depending on which lens you put on, you may see vignetting.

This adapter gives you the ability to use your irreplaceable prime lens with your new camera and saves you the cost of buying new lenses. Auto iris, auto focus and other functions will not work properly when using this adapter as it is not electronic. In this case, it will be necessary to use “stop-down mode” when metering, as the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. Infinity focus is allowed.
