The BeachTek DXA-SLR Adapter is an active XLR audio adapter for DSLR cameras with a mini jack, silent preamplifier, and phantom power.
It is attached to the base of the camera with a ¼” male and at the same time it can be mounted on a camera plate also with a ¼” thread.
Its size allows you to change the battery without having to remove the adapter. The housing is cast aluminum and has a recording indicator, AGC gain function, headphone volume, mono/stereo output selector, line/microphone selectors, channel balance, phantom power selectors, active and peak indicators, two inputs Balanced XLR, mini jack auxiliary input for wireless microphones, mini jack output to camera, RCA inputs for monitoring and HI/LO gain adjustments.

Active adapter (phantom) with 2 XLR3 inputs. Allows you to connect professional audio equipment to equipment with a minijack input.
It has audio input level, AGC and headphone output.
Under camera mounting via 1/4″ screw.
Powered by 9V batteries.
