PL CineAlta camera with 35mm Exmor CMOS sensor. To enter the world of 35mm in the easiest and most economical way possible, the PMW-F3 includes three high-quality Sony lenses (35mm, 50mm and 85mm, T2.0).

The PMW-F3 ships with three high-quality Sony lenses and an industry standard PL mount adapter that provides compatibility with industry standard 35mm lenses.

The PMW-F3 is part of the CineAlta 24P digital cinematography product family and its compatibility with multiple frame rates includes the 23.98P film, as well as S-Log workflows.

The Exmor ™ CMOS Super 35 sensor from Sony was designed thanks to the experience of two decades in digital cinematography, being pioneers in the capture of digital HD for films and television broadcast through the legendary range of CineAlta products. It brings a true “cinematic style” and high image quality to independent films, music videos, commercials and other applications, as well as making the PMW-F3 an ideal auxiliary camera for large film productions.

Exceptional flexibility is a key feature of the F3 along with multiple workflow options. The proven high-speed XDCAM EX workflow offers seamless integration with leading serial non-linear editing software. In addition, HD-SDI 4: 2: 2 to 10-bit output offers hybrid recording possibilities with a variety of external recording devices.
